We are thrilled to announce that CVR Co-founder and Managing Director, Kenny Imafidon, has been awarded an MBE in the King’s Birthday Honours for his exceptional services to market and social research.
Kenny co-founded CVR in his final year of university. Under his leadership, the business has grown from strength to strength, and we’ve been able to thrive despite the internal growing pains of scaling, as well as through very difficult times such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Kenny has been an advocate and champion in the sector, encouraging leaders in the industry to rethink how they engage with so-called ‘hard to reach’ communities and gather more inclusive insights using equitable practices.
Over the years, he has also given up a lot of his time to serve different causes and mentor people. His extensive work with charities, communities, and policymakers has helped to change the lives of those most socially excluded. He sits on the board of several charities including BBC Children in Need. He is the co-founder of OnBoard, a programme that supports diverse talent to be board-ready for non-executive roles. He is also the co-founder of My Brother's Keeper, a voluntary group that supports men (mainly serving long-term sentences) in various prisons across the UK.
We couldn’t be prouder of Kenny and his incredible achievements!
Kenny's Statement:
“I am grateful for the recognition of my services to the research industry. My journey began with The Kenny Reports at 18 years old, it then transitioned into the building of CVR at 22, to where it is today. I am proud that in just under a decade, ClearView has conducted hundreds of projects engaging diverse communities from all four corners of the UK; from Cornwall to Armagh; from Edinburgh to London whether online or offline; ClearView has amplified the voices of diverse and underrepresented communities in both social and market research.
Although I am personally being recognised, my success is a team effort, and would not have been possible without my amazing team members, co-founders, support system, mentors and those who have believed in me on this journey. I hope others who have grown up in communities like Peckham and are on their entrepreneurial journey see my name listed in the King’s 2024 Birthday Honours list, and are inspired to keep going and chase their dreams.”
